"I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am [He] you shall die in your sins." John 8:24(NAS)

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which translated means, "God with us." Matthew 1:23 (NAS)

John 1:14 says "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth." (NAS)

Why Did Jesus Come to This Earth?

So why did the Word become flesh in the form of Jesus Christ to be born to the woman called Mary?  Why did Jesus come to dwell among us?
