Correct.
And
I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written inside and
on the back, sealed up with seven seals. Revelation
5:1 (NAS)
In the Old Testament and New Testament times, they did not have books as we know
them today. Modern books consist of many individual pages of paper bound
together with a seam and/or glue. In the later Biblical times, books were
written on a long continuous roll of parchment (animal skins), papyrus, or even
metals such as copper wrapped around a pole. In earlier Old Testament
days, writings were carved on stone (such as the 10 Commandments), clay, metal,
etc.
The word "book" in Revelation 5:1 is from the Greek word #975 "biblion"
which means "a roll." These rolls (or scrolls) were usually covered
with a seal that would need to be broken in order to open the roll.
